The green shoots are, if I remember correctly day lillies. The other green plant is the dreaded creeping buttercup that has crept in from the paddock next door. Bloody awful thing, so difficult to keep on top of. Well, as you can see, I haven’t!!
Isn’t it just lovely to see the new shoots and buds. The first herald of Spring… well not quite, there’s a lovely clump of daffs coming up in the lawn, but chose this photo as everything was dead around the clump. Well, I say everything. Everything except the dreaded creeping buttercup, the other green in the photo. 🙁
